I worked with Mr. Qualls on a response to a child custody matter. He is very experienced, has a great deal of common sense, especially when children are involved, and is honest and straight forward. Hiring an attorney can be scary because of the expense, and Mr. Qualls understands that and gets right to the heart of the matter and stays focused on it. He is able to wade through the crap and keep the children's best interest at the forefront without wasted time and money. He has worked in the system and long time and has good relationships with opposing attorneys. He always tries to reason with the opposition and only uses court as a last resort. I came to see Kevin Qualls after my divorce was finalized for advice on how to enforce child and spousal support. Kevin was beyond helpful! He carefully listened to my situation, reviewed my documents and gave me sound direction as to what my next step would be. He even recommended that I not retain his services at this point! It is rare to come across an individual that gives more in value than they receive in compensation. I didn't have quite the same experience than some others did. Rather contrary. I first met Kevin at the start of 2014 for my custody case. He met with me at a time convenient for me and shortly after my first call in to him. We must've spent about 3 hours going over everything (my situation) and he gave me a run down of what the next steps were; that time spent I was not charged for which was a huge help for me. He was patient and kind to me yet firm and realistic. He didn't tell me only what I wanted to hear but at times what I needed to hear. I was always contacted by either himself or Cindy in a reasonable time frame. Fast forward 3 years, I needed him again and he called me back a day after leaving him a voicemail. He spent an hour on the phone with me and selflessly warned me that I may not want to spend the money to use him for the minor issue I had. I found Kevin by searching on Google and I'm glad I did. My experience with him has been great from the start. It wasn't a fun time for me, nor is it for anyone usually, but Kevin's professionalism throughout managed to keep me focused and as calm as anyone can be in that situation. Thank you Kevin. I had an opportunity to consult with Mr. Qualls on a child custody modification case involving my daughter of 6 years old and DCSS. He was able to provide me with accurate details of the process and could also characterize the Judges which seemed accurate to how he described them when I saw them in person. I can say with certainty that there are very few attorneys in Orange County, especially in Family Law, who are as experienced, knowledgeable and as straightforward (in a good way) as Mr. Qualls. More importantly, his charges are very reasonable given his caliber and the results I received. Unfortunately for me, I have had lots of experience with both good and bad attorneys, and Mr. Qualls is amongst the most positive I have had.

I retained Kevin to review a pre-nup before getting married. Not only was Kevin extremely knowledgeable and readily shared that knowledge in a kind and respectful manner, but I had a great time meeting with him. He was able to go over all of the sections in the document and fully addressed all of my questions and concerns. Unlike other lawyers I've met who made me feel like I was wasting their time, Kevin made me feel comfortable and displayed a genuine interest in making sure that I got what I needed. But what was most impressive was his integrity. I unfortunately under estimated the complexity of my pre-nup when I asked for a quote over the phone, but Kevin stood by his quoted price even after I repeatedly offered to pay him for the extra time required for my case. I hope I won't be needing Kevin's services any time soon, but he'll be the first lawyer that I'll call if the time comes.

I hired Kevin Qualls ten years ago to handle my divorce and child custody cases. He was able to resolve then both efficiently. Recently, I hired Mr. Qualls again to change the court order of child custody. He fought for my 12 year old son to have a child's interview with the courts. I feel this interview had great impact on the judges decision. Not many fathers are granted 90% custody, but Mr. Qualls made it happen. In addition, Mr. Qualls was able to erase any support I was paying to my ex-wife. Borth Mr. Qualls and his office staff respond quickly to phone calls and emails helping me feel assured that their service is "above and beyond". As a parent, I could not give a higher recommendation for Mr. Qualls services.
